Tips For Equipment

  1. Ideally you will have a headset (headphones and microphone combined)
  2. If you don’t have a headset using the laptop microphone and a pair of headphones works perfectly well
  3. Using an external mouse is a lot easier than using the laptop’s trackpad
  4. If there are audio issues, in most instances, we organise for you to phone the student and have that on speaker for the audio
  5. A webcam is not needed but might be nice to use from time-to-time especially when tutoring younger students
