Hi, I'm Abby a current Biomedical Science student at QUT. As a tutor, I like to work through problems step-by-step together while discussing what we're doing, and revisiting any foundational knowledge that may really assist in nailing a topic down. Subjects I enjoy and am comfortable with tutoring are maths, sciences and english at primary and junior levels, and english, chemistry, physics, methods and specialists at senior level.

Tutor
Hi, I'm Alyssa! I'm a first-year university student at the University of Queensland studying a Bachelor of International Studies majoring in Korean. I graduated High School in 2022, but my passion for learning has stayed with me. I bring that same love of learning into my tutoring sessions, aiming to help each student find their passion for studying and reach their academic goals.
I cater to each student's individual needs and always ensure that I create a safe environment for them to ask questions on topics they're unsure of. I understand that each student learns a different way and I tailor my tutoring approach to best help the individual student.

Some people take on sport or scrapbooking as hobbies. They spend time honing their skills and building a knowledge base on their preferred activities. Learning is my hobby. When it comes to tutoring, my goal is to develop the tools within all my students to make them life long learners.

My tutoring is dynamic and supportive; I specialise in adapting my teaching to the unique learning styles of each student.
I bring an extensive knowledge of ACARA and QCAA curriculum and assessment procedures and a genuine passion for student success to every session.

View ProfileGabi
Tutor
Hi, my name is Gabi and I am a first-year student studying a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics at UQ. My favourite subjects have always been math and sciences and I always love to explain topics and concepts to help out my piers in their journey for academic success!
As a tutor, my approach is to listen and connect with students to find out the best way to help them progress with their learning and ensure they feel comfortable to ask questions.
Keeley
Tutor
Hi! My name is Keeley and I have a passion for mathematics. I have always enjoyed maths and it's links to real world applications (especially within physics!). For the past two years I have been studying a Bachelor of Science (Maths and Physics Major) at the University of Wollongong, where I maintained a weighted average mark of 79.5. I have recently transferred to Queensland University of Technology to commence a Bachelor of Mathematics/Masters of Teaching and persure my passion for education.
My aim as a tutor is to always make my students comfortable enough to ask the silly questions and make sure that they fully comprehend all parts of a topic. I want my students to know that it is okay to make a mistake in the learning process and know that I will help them recognise and learn where they can improve, while also pointing out what they are doing well.
